He received his degree in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and has served as a board member on the University of Arkansas Alumni Association. George also contributes his marketing and managing skills from owning a local automobile dealership for thirty years.

George is a member of the El Dorado Board of REALTORS® where he served as President for 2007, the Arkansas REALTORS® Association, and the National REALTORS® Association.

He and his wife Margaret have resided in El Dorado since 1959 and have three children and seven grandchildren.
